Indoor State Cup Finalists - U11G Vipers
On January 9th, the U11G PASC Vipers team were finalists at the 2016 EPYSA Horizon Indoor State Cup held at the Pocono Dome.
The Vipers first game was against a very good team from Upper 90. Both teams battled to a 1-1 draw as they both became familiar with the format. The second game, against Abington Precision, also ended in a 1-1 draw. Entering the 3rd game, the Vipers faced Fairmount Falcons needing a strong effort to advance out of bracket play. The Vipers came out fighting and defeated the Falcons 7-0 to earn a trip to the semi-finals.
In the semi-finals, the Vipers had to play their PAGs division rival Valley Voodoo. Vipers and Voodoo have met three times this past fall season; everyone expected fireworks! The Vipers came out striking with an aggressive style to earn 4-2 victory and a shot at the finals against Whitpain Wild.
The finals kicked off at the end of a long “soccer” day. Both teams battled hard, but the Vipers just could not find the back of the net. Despite a flurry of attacks in the final 5 minutes, the Vipers lost

Coaches and parents are extremely proud of the Girl’s effort. We look forward to continue to see them grow as a team/soccer players and a great group of young ladies. GREAT JOB!
